If you would like to help me by doing some artwork for my book then it would be much appreciated, and whenever I used your art I would of course credit your name to it.
The descriptions are only rough ideas so if you want to try different things with the characters/places/objects, then your ideas would be welcomed! Any kind of artwork (sketches, colour, computer art) would be great, and in any style too.
I am also thinking of turning the book into an online comic, so if anyone wants to get involved then let me know!

Extremely brief story breakdown! (If you want more details then just let me know):

The book is called ‘Project Darkstar’. It tells the story of 3 ‘chosen ones’ that are born into a prophecy. The prophecy was born when the universe was, and says that an evil will one day try to destroy the world and move to what is beyond the universe, but 3 will be born with the power to stop it. In the centre of the universe is Aevum, a planet where The Keeper watches over the universe. The Keeper is as old as the universe, and he has 7 apprentices. Drakus is one of the apprentices. Drakus kills The Keeper and the other apprentices, except for Elendon who escapes with the Vox Sator, the stone that helped create the universe and has enormous power. He takes it to the chosen ones: Jack, Cady and Isaiah. Jack, Cady, Will and Janie are all friends at high school when they start to see strange things happening and find a secret underground government base. Jacks foster parents turn out to be two fbi agents who work at the underground base. They are monitoring Jack because they expect he is one of the chosen ones. The fbi are mostly bad because the man in charge (Hatcher) is bad. Jacks foster mother is part of the good fbi, but his foster father (Taylor) is bad and is Hatchers 2nd in command. Elendon delivers the Vox Sator to Jack and Cady, then leaves to go to another planet to find Isaiah. Taylor shoots Jacks foster mum, but Jack, Cady, Will and Janie escape. The four of them then find Isaiah on his planet, who gets killed when saving them from the final evil spirit. In the end, Cady must destroy the Darkstar while Jack protects her by facing Drakus.

Character descriptions:

Jack—
15/16 year old male – Fairly tall – Dark hair that sweeps across his face a bit – Dark eyes, well defined dark eyebrows – Distinctive face – Neither fat nor thin – Wears a ring tied on a piece of string necklace / OR it can be worn on one of his fingers – Clothing options: top: long sleeved dark top or jacket to in-between waist and knee. Bottom: Any kind of trousers, any kind of footwear.

Isaiah—
16/17 year old male – Mid to tall – Blond/brown hair, fairly long (down back of neck at back, longer than eyes at front, with a swept back look (imagine sawyer from lost –his hair) – Blue eyes, sharp thinish eyebrows – A fairly thin face with well defined cheek bones – Fairly thin person – Wears a bracelet which – Clothing options: open to any suggestions.

Cady—
15/16 year old female – Average height – Brown long hair (open to other suggestions though) – Greeny coloured eyes – Beautiful but not in an obvious way, looks striking and mysterious – Slender figure – Wears a necklace with a phoenix on (not a picture of a phoenix, an actual miniature phoenix) – Clothing options: open to suggestions, preferably something that looks individual, but also like its from planet earth. (Maybe a red top?

Will—
15/16 year old male – Average height – Shorter hair than Jack and Isaiah, any colour – Any colour eyes – Not fat – Clothing: Anything as long as it looks a bit like he’s from earth – All other details open to suggestions.

Janie—
15/16 year old female, Wills twin sister – A popular girl – Obviously pretty – Longish blonde hair – Average/short height – Clothing: However a popular girl would dress – Everything else open to suggestions.

Drakus—
Male, roughly 40 years old, but open to artists interpretation – Very tall (just under 7ft perhaps) – Must look evil – Must get a sense that he is very powerful – Imagine Sauron off Lord of the rings in the battle scene where he’s wearing the ring.

Taylor & Hatcher—
Both fbi guys in suits – Taylor must be well built, fairly broad. He must look sly. Around 36 years old. – Hatcher is Taylor’s boss, so he must look more in charge. He could look clever, cold and calculating. He is around 46–50 years old.

Elendon—
Same age is Drakus – From another planet – Could be dressed like a monk in white? Open to suggestions.

The Keeper—
God like character.

Kandon—
Same age as Drakus – Must seem powerful and good – Dressed in plain rough/ragged clothes.

Arken Enson—
Drakus’ servant. Human like shape, but doesn’t look human.

Smith West—
36 year old male – Slightly plump – Any height – Jolly.

3 evil spirits—
Wraith like appearance. Open to any suggestions.

Objects:

Phoenix pendant – Saves Mays life, because phoenix can bring you back from the ashes. A rough idea of what it should look like:


Luck ring – Brings Jack good luck, and strength. A rough idea of what it could look like, or maybe have the ring as being black with red or blue features on? Any suggestions really:
